Transcending Time: An Artistic Journey into Nature

bg-arc.png
The Unsettled Present

Life today is filled with ceaseless noise and movement, leaving mind and spirit restless. Our once peaceful existence seems tossed aside, replaced with chaos and fleeting moments. As life hurtles forward at breakneck speed, there is no pause, and each passing scene quickly fades into the next. Paradoxically, this transient existence gives the impression that life is made of these ephemeral moments. At times, the longing for a pause emerges, a dream of stillness that could put an end to the incessant march of time, but this too, is ephemeral.

The Eternal Stillness of Nature

Amidst this whirlwind, there exists a sanctuary in nature. Time seems to halt in its presence; it embodies an enduring constancy, living in its own timeless rhythm. Artifacts of nature like ancient paintings and fossils trapped within the earth hold a certain fascination, carrying a timelessness of their own. These seemingly frozen instances feel like drawings by nature itself.

Art: Meeting The Inner Self

Art, in essence, is the medium through which a seldom explored part of our being gets a voice. Through the language of art, we often depict imagined landscapes, and through this act, we find closure for the longings of a 'somewhere else'.

Mountains and Birth of Self

Mountains, for instance, are a stark reminder of my existence. The process of creating mountains from clay is essentially a process of recreating myself. Each fold, each shape, each color forms a revelation of my being, a birthing process repeated as each work comes to life.

My Communion With Timelessness

These elements induce in me a sense of transcendence. Accompanying these paintings and shapes, I turn myself into a picture or a fossil of sorts. In their company, I find myself reaching for their timeline, immersing myself in their archaic era, aligning myself with their narrative. The memories these paintings and fossils invoke, now feel as though they’ve imprinted onto my soul, influencing the way I approach my clay.

Nature-infused Creativity

The recurrent theme in my work is nature. Each piece of work is an expression of the cosmos, a tangible representation of nature's myriad emotions, hues, forms, and secrets.

My Expression and Contribution to the Universe

In replication, I am not merely reproducing the universe's creation as I understand it but infusing my imaginings, thoughts, and colors into that understanding. Every piece thus becomes an expression of my understanding of nature, my perspective, my interpretation of the world's timeless rhythm. It's my homage to the enduring constancy of nature.
